Abstract:
Objective: To observe the curative efficacy of Shengmai
Injection, Yunnan Baiyao and rubarb powder for patients with
acute cerebral hemorrhage. Methods: 32 patients with acute
cerebral hemorrhage (treatment group) were treated with Sengmai
Injection infused intravenously, Yunnan Baiyao and rubarb
powder taken orally or via nasofeedingly on the basis of treatment
with conventional western medicine; 31 cases with acute cerebral
hemorrhage (control group) who hospitalized at the same period
were treated with western medicine only i.e. dehydration,
suppressing ICP, preventing cerebral cells, antiinfection,
antihypertention and nutritional support and so on. The therapeutic
course was 3 weeks for both treatment and control group, and
the therapeutic efficacy was compared. Results: The total
effective rate was 90.60% in treatment group and 67.74% in
control group, respectively. There was a significant difference
between two groups (P<0.05). The duration (4.5 days) for
unconsciousness to consciousness in treatment group was shorter
than that (5.9 days) in control group. The occurance rate
of complications (21.9%) in treatment group was significantly
lower than that (38.7%) in control group (P<0.05). Conclusions:
Based on the treatment with conventional western medicine
infusing Shengmai Injection, taking Yunnan Baiyao and rubarb
powder orally (nosofeedingly) possess better curative efficacy.
