A private TCM museum opened in Beijing (2004/1/17)


A private traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) museum opened in Beijing recently. More than 2,000 cultural relics related to the practice is on display, including specimens of traditional Chinese medicines, medical equipment, prescriptions and clinic advertisements, as well as old books, magazines and newspapers. The museum, located at Feng Tai Nan Lu, was launched by the Bai family (Yushentang) who are well-known for their long involvement in traditional Chinese medicine. All the items exhibited were collected and contributed by members of the family.
